Serabi is committed to building long-term, sustainable relationships and delivering value to its stakeholders. Operating int the Tapajós region for more than 20 years, where public services are limited, the Company has become a key partner to communities around its operations in Jardim do Ouro, Moraes d’Almeida, Novo Progresso, Itaituba, and the TI Baú Indigenous area.

This approach is based on ongoing, transparent dialogue and socio-economic investment in areas such as education, health, and infrastructure. Over time, these efforts have contributed to strong community relationships.

Serabi also supports local economic development through employment, skills development, including its Youth Apprenticeship programme, and the development of regional supply chains. In a region with limited formal employment, these initiatives.

Community programs

The Group’s community and social relations professionals undertake regular meetings with the neighboring communities to understand the needs of the local residents, as well as explaining the role that Serabi can play in improving community life. These meetings with residents’ associations and community representatives, and the programmes that are generated through this dialogue, help strengthen ties with the community and reinforce the positive benefits that our operations bring to the region.
